Neither Nuge nor Hyman have ever made their teammates better… ever. They are expensive complimentary players. Makes sense that they’d be paired together. Such a brilliant use of 13 million. Could have spent Hymans money on a defenceman that can actually defend… you know; the opposite of Barrie.

Didn’t see the Dube one. And the JP one I don’t think was a trip. It was just JP doing his usual new born giraffe impression. You can’t tell me you think the oilers only committed 1 penalty tonight…

I’m also really enjoying the calming, ‘fire drill’ like, presence Keith is brining to the defensive end.

Unfortunately, this offseason, Holland made a bigger mess of the roster than Chiarelli did during his fabled tenure.

Hymen - $5.5 million x 7. A hobbled $2.5 million player nearing the end of his carreer.
Keith - $5.5 x 2. A post decline $1 million fringe defender
Cici - $3.3 x 4. Likely bound for KHL had Holland not signed him.

This $14.3 million could have went a long way toward correcting some of the obvious team deficiencies. Holland instead squandered on unwanted players. If the Pacific was not the weakest division this would be a long season for fans. I doubt Holland lasts until the next draft.
